I graduated in Law from Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski” and studied English at Barnet Southgate College in London. I completed postgraduate studies in European Union law at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, with a thesis on the case law of the Court of Justice of the EU and preliminary references.
I am a PhD candidate in Civil and Family Law at the Institute for the State and Law of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. My first academic publication is on termination of construction contracts.
Before practising as a lawyer, I worked as in-house legal counsel for companies in Bulgaria and abroad. There I drafted and negotiated contracts in tourism, trade and services, as well as franchise agreements. I also handled labour disputes and the companies’ civil, commercial and enforcement disputes.
My practice
I practise mainly in Plovdiv and Sofia and take cases throughout Bulgaria, for clients in the country and abroad. I am an independent lawyer and I am personally involved in every case.
- Banks, collectors and enforcement. I have handled successful cases against private enforcement agents, banks, debt collectors, monopoly companies and quick-loan companies. These include unfair terms in credit agreements, limitation periods, and claims for damages and unjust enrichment.
- Family law. Divorce, prenuptial agreements, child maintenance, contact arrangements with children, and protection against domestic violence for both women and men.
- Property. Lease, sale and partition agreements.
- Claims against the state. Claims against the state and municipalities under the State and Municipalities Liability for Damage Act.
- Criminal cases. Representing victims and defending the accused.
- Road accidents. Compensation claims against insurers and the Guarantee Fund, including out-of-court settlements.

I work with colleagues at my offices in Plovdiv (2 Nikola Voyvodov Str., floor 1) and Sofia (66 Vitosha Blvd., floor 4). Every case is handled with full confidentiality.
